Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 15, 2026

PostTally helps teams plan, schedule, approve, publish, and report on social media content across connected channels. This policy explains the data we process when customers use the service.

Information we collect

We collect account details such as name, email address, account membership, plan status, and product preferences. When a customer connects a social media account, we store provider identifiers, selected channel details, and encrypted OAuth tokens needed to operate the requested integration.

How we use information

We use customer information to authenticate users, manage accounts, schedule and publish approved posts, generate publishing reports, provide support, and maintain service security. We do not sell customer data.

Social platform data

PostTally only requests platform permissions needed for the features a customer chooses to use, such as listing pages or channels and publishing approved content. Customers can disconnect channels from their account at any time.

Language translation

When a customer selects a non-English interface language, PostTally loads Google Translate in the browser. Google may receive technical request data under its own privacy terms. The language choice is stored in the browser.

Security

Access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Administrative access is limited to configured owner emails and server-side authorization checks.
